This work emerged from a two-month artist residency in Sonoma County, where I found myself held by a landscape of redwoods and ancient oaks. The land spoke and I listened. What began as a retreat from the city to make art, became a pilgrimage, transforming not just my practice as an artist but the very geography of my soul's journey. Some places we inhabit; others inhabit us.
